She sits pretty well on her own with the occasional topsy turby. She drools like a leaky facet so we’re keeping a feel out for the hard white stuff (her first tooth).
She has increased her speed and reflex exponentially. We stopped counting how many times she has caused a spill.
She looses interest in her toys fast shifting her attention to grownup stuff from food to remote control and cell phones. Where’s a cardboard box when you need one.
Sitting her next to new babies reminds us, she no longer weighs 8lbs nor does she sleeps 15-20 hrs a day!
We can’t hold her with one arm anymore.
She opens her mouth when offered anything.
She has attempted the copy cat game at whistling but only bubbles came out…haha…oh and she smiles and laughs when she sees anyone do it!
All and all, she’s a lot of fun to be around with these days. She’s very responsive to anything we say, do or express and she’ll react in her own ways…smiling, giggling, talking, singing…you name it. She’s friendly and playful the majority of the time to anyone who’s willing to play along with her. Her only moody time is turning that energy off for naps and bedtime. She doesn’t quite know how yet smoothly anyway.
Here are some pixs from this past weekend. We drove into Chinatown (SF) with our families for the Chinese New Year community fair and parade. We didn’t actually stay for the parade but enjoyed a nice sunny day strolling around town. We also visited our friend Ed and Alisa and their new addition Sydney on Sunday. Precious little monkey!!
Uncle Arnold on carrying duty...all day!
As for updates on us, we’re doing ok. The state implemented the first furlough (no work no pay) day last Friday cutting most state workers’ salary by 10% for the next 18 months. Fortunately, Yogi’s department is exempted and didn’t have to submit to the cut so we're able to survive. Katie and I spent the day grocery shopping with my mom and visiting my friend Jamie who made wontons. Whelp, as long as I stay away from the cash registers, I should be fine. Anyone up for visiting RedHawk?!...hahaha….
