A Little Treat

This couple look familiar? Warning: video is approximately 8 minutes long, could be worth it if you've never seen it before.

We had a few friends over the other night who have never seen our formal wedding pictures (we took during our visit to China last year) or this video the studio made. So, in honor of our 3 year wedding anniversary coming up next month, thought we share some of our best looking moments...at least for ME anyway, course I can use the reminder these days!

He did...he did...

Keep praying little one.

Blogging serves its purpose by helping us remember moments like this...

After a session at the gym last night, we stopped by for gas and ice cream on the way home. When we got home, we cleaned up and settled into our comfy couch to watch the Lakers game. Then, I started to feel the ice cream go through the dancing limbs of our daughter punching every which way. Like numerous times before, I had Yogi come over to feel. As he grew restless once again and was ready to give up to concentrate on the game, he FINALLY felt a punch. His eyes widen and stared at me speechlessly with a big grin on his face for confirmation. He looked as if something shockingly amazing just happened and didn't know how to react...haha... Quite amusing and I wish I could have caught it on camera. Nonetheless, we're expecting more, more, more :oD

Good thing we're having a GIRL...hehe...poor little dude...
Have a great weekend!

Family Outing

Over the weekend, my cousin Kim had her wedding reception. My whole family was in attendance along with hundreds of close relatives and friends from my Mom's side. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a new generation of little cousins (not so little anymore) to be wed. Here are the people in my immediate family who will be spoiling our little girl. I'm the eldest so all are younger siblings :oD

Vicent, Kim and Us

My sister, Linda (matron of honor) and my pregnant self

My brother, Arnold (left) and cousin having a sip of soda :o/

My sister, Annie (left) and cousin Chi (bridesmaid)

My brother, Johnson and his pretty girlfriend, Nancy

My parents and my youngest sister, Tina

Dancing with Pregnancy Symptoms

Another week down and one less to go for the pregnancy...woo hoo!! I know how you guys like photos so couldn't resist posting a few late in the week . Thanks Kristy for sending them over :o)

Yogi obviously taking advantage of life now verses life come August.

This past weekend was great! Congratulations to the Fong's on delivering Gabriel on Friday, 4/11. The little dude is healthy at 6lbs and 15oz. We'll see you all soon!

Also, it was nice to see our college friend, John and his wife visiting from Thailand (new home after attending Sac State). We hope to return the visit some day soon when our girls can play together :o)

Me pretty girl friends - top row left to right, Abbey, Mary Ann, and Tang (John's wife), bottom row me, Silvia and Kristy.

Our little lady is being as reactive as ever. She gets mobile to loud noises or music (we'd like to notice) and afternoons are definitely not nap times. We've been trying to keep music on as often as possible. Smooth jazz is currently my favorite and sometimes rap...hehe... Who knows she may turn into a musician one day, preferably in classical music!! She also reacts well after I'd had a drink or bite to eat. I suppose she likes the energy boosters to keep her dancing in my tummy.

Am I glowing?

In other news, the feet have gain swelling in the past week or two. The shoes just don't fit the same anymore, another darn reminder I'm pregnant! The sleeping hasn't been entirely great either, the night before was too hot and last night was too cold, maybe we can get it right tonight so all three of us can get some constant sleep. And...the back is getting sorer by the bend. Gosh, at this rate, I'll be handicap in a few more weeks!

Have a good one!

The Good and the Bad

We're starting our 21st week! Yay! I felt a few kicks this morning just as my alarm clock sounded to wake up and get this Monday moving. Unfortunately, daddy can't quite feel her reflects yet but hopefully soon.

I'm definitely enjoying this second semester with little or no pains, besides some tossing and turning to find a comfortable sleeping position. I've continued my gym sessions on a weekly basis. I'm usually on the elliptical and workout machines to strengthen my arms and legs to carry this baby as well as hip and lower back stretches for labor. Not to worry Trace, your yoga CD is still in good uses on nights when I don't feel like going to the gym :oD

37 inches and counting

We had a short and sweet doctor's visit today to meet our OB for the first time face to face and to chat about how I'm feeling. The baby's heartbeat turned up speedy and strong. Gosh, we should really get one of those sound magnifying gadgets ourselves. You can even hear her little kicks, waves, and other whooshing movements. Next visit in 6 weeks :o)

On a sadder note, my cousin lost her husband last week to a sudden health condition. He was only 32 years old leaving behind his wife and a young son (2.5 yrs old). Family and friends are devastated as they morn and remember him for the loving person that he was. I visited my cousin on Friday night and I'm very proud she's keeping herself together. She's staying strong doing what she can to move forward and provide for their son.

Above pix taken almost 3 years ago at our wedding. Below of their son, Dylan and me a few weeks ago at a party. Dylan was at our wedding too, in one way or another ;o)

We're going to miss your sense of humor and everything about you...R.I.P. Shawn.
