What's new?

We had a great weekend in SF. We haven’t been in town since to celebrate New Years so some good shopping and eats were way overdue. The weather started out romantic with a beautiful sunset on Friday night and a rare sunny day on Saturday. We had lunch with our friends, Carey and Greg at a winky dinky ramen place in between shopping in the many, many crowded stores around Union Square and Market.

As usual, I didn’t see much of the sidewalk covered with shopping fever to ring in the spring blowout sales. You’d think we were shopping for HER…hehe…but think again, she’s not here yet and mommy and daddy still needs to look good before she does!! However, we did end up getting her a dresser yesterday. Her daddy’s suppose to put it together tonight…woo hoo, we can start collecting hand-me-downs from all the generous Aunties :o)

We had dinner at a new Japanese restaurant called Maru Maru in San Mateo on Saturday night with family. The ambiance and presentation of the food were impressive and taste just as good – yes the cook stuff was great for 'us'. Afterwards, we took a stroll for dessert at Yogurtouille. Yummy self served yogurt and toppings of all fruits and nuts priced by the weight. I dispensed a little of all the yogurt flavors (maybe 8 flavors) in our cup and couldn’t tell which was which but still ate ever last nut.

Sunday was dedicated to prepping and hosting my brother-in-law and his wife’s baby shower for their son, Tyrus. We all had a great time and the new parents did too - being able to enjoy some time with family, friends and co-workers.

...and the Le family's pregnant sister-in-laws!

Our little missy has been putting on quite a show for us as she gets stronger by the day. Last night, while we relaxed into bed, I had soft jazz on and she began to roll around in my tummy. What started out as a few kicks turned into movements along the walls of my belly. We can’t quite feel the body part yet but we’re guessing the feet. I did feel her tiny toes against my belly over the weekend which was an amazing mommy feeling!!

Too funny. We were in SF at exactly the same time. Thanks for the continued updates!
