We spent Saturday with my sister-in-law, Jaynie and her fiance, Dave as they shop for an October wedding venue. Our first stop was a secluded mansion down along hwy 160 towards the delta, The Grand Island Mansion.
Dining room seats 100
Another dining room seats 75
Front lawn area where ceremony can be held
Our search continued on Sunday as we toured Arden Hills Country Club, Viscaya, and the Sterling Hotel. For a brief second, Yogi and I thought maybe we'll renew our vows sooner than planned ;oD Then again, maybe not!!...haha...and that's how long the thought lasted.
As far as our bride-to-be is concerned, she's leaning towards the beautiful all inclusive mansion where she can have it all to herself on her wedding day. After all it's all about the HER!
Saturday night we attended a dinner in Rocklin to celebrate our February bday friends, Vikki and Jared. They happened to be married to eachother with two beautiful kids Taylor and Lilah.
Quite obvious where my attention was.
Can't blame me, she's too cute!!

I almost got married at the Grand Island Mansion - I had a deposit on a day and everything. But they just had so many restrictions and extra charges. It is beautiful, though.
