Yup Katie officially turned 8 months this past Sunday and things are certainly heating up with her motor skills and the weather. She’s plain unstoppable lately. She moves around the house faster than we can use the bathroom. She’s now able to pull herself up to standing position holding onto objects, lower herself down to sitting position and at my parent’s house started to lift her legs on the stairway. Ya, we’re in for it now and first thing first, we started closing the doors to the rooms and bathrooms we don’t want to her in. As for the kitchen, we’ll need to get a rail soon to keep her out especially when Grandma is cooking.
The past two nights have been very warm, tonight included so she’ll probably sleep in her onsie again. I’m loving it b/c I don’t have to worry about her kicking her blankies off during the night and chilling herself till morning. She’s a sweater and doesn’t seem to be liking the heat. She tosses and turns a little bit more than usual and takes her time to fall asleep at night. Item #2 on the to-buy list is a ceiling fan with remote for her room!

Other than that, she's getting excited about the coming summer. We're enrolling her into parent and tot swim classes. Michael Phelps here we come!
Have a great week everybody. We’re heading up to Tahoe for a long awaited wedding!! Rain please stay away on Saturday!! Also, I’m looking forward to a transition in jobs the end of the month. I’ve accepted a promotional position in another department of Medi-Cal. I’ll still be in the same building I’m in now but moving up!
